    Pros

The co workers are nice and the job is fun.

    Cons

Their are times when they do not have enough hours to offer.

    Advice to Management

Cross training is great for employees to gain more hours.

I worked at Target as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - You meet new people and have great time working with them.

    - Positive attitude = great morale in the workforce.

    - There's a good chance that making a good impression in getting the job done through tough times may get you to keep your job longer if you work seasonal.

    Cons

    - Only encounter one manager that wasn't all friendly and most of the time force employees to work overtime if the team doesn't meet the deadline.

    - As times goes by, people who worked in the same seasonal position as you may get reassign to a different job position when the number of employees start to plummet after holidays are done.

    - When employees get fired or resign in the job position you are currently in, you may be force to pick up the slack and work overtime more often.

    I worked at Target part-time

    Pros

    Competitive pay
    Independent work
    Easy work
    No meat cutting
    The best guests/customers
    Cross training
Down to earth HR and helpful

    Cons

The worst thing about this place is the co workers.
I think since there's no job security everyone is ready to turn on the weakest link. Promotions are promised and almost never granted.

    Advice to Management

Back up your team leads and quit giving hours to the people that show up and do nothing. Actually coach people so that they can move up and make you look good, they'll speak well of you, respect you more and work hard for you.
