I have been working at Target part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I love everyone I work with. They are always willing to teach you new things, cross train, and promote from within. Target is a great place to work in the retail industry. I've worked at other retail stores before and I'm much happier here and learned more here than anywhere else.

    Cons

It's retail so dealing with customers all day means there are good and bad days. Depending on sales for the month they will cut hours sometimes. Sometimes it can seem like you have a heavy work load and that they're asking a lot of you during your shift. I don't usually mind it though because it challenges you and keeps you busy.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up. Find ways to communicate better. It can be difficult with so many different people working part time at all different hours, but it would definitely be beneficial.

I have been working at Target part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Some of the other team members are really great.

    Cons

The leadership expects too much, are gossipy, passive aggressive and not professional. They are rude. Also corporate doesn't know what they are doing.
