I worked at Target (More than a year)

    Pros

I found that the Company was very Guest Oriented. It was a Pleasure to work here especially if you are outgoing, and enjoy meeting new people.

    Cons

Some times the chain of command was blurry. Knowing who exactly you should go to when faced with a issue was sometimes hard

    Advice to Management

Keep up what you are doing!

I have been working at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most people who I work with are very friendly.

    Cons

They pay is not competitive or sustainable and GSA's (managers) are paid only a dollar or so more than a cashier yet are managers. They will put you in departments you are not trained for so you either call out or can get a coaching for not doing everything properly. Random hour cuts if you don't meet red card goal (Cashier and GSA's only)

    Advice to Management

At the very least pay your managers a livable wage. When a store gets constant complaints called to corporate, do an actual surprise visit, don't tell the STL so they can prep the store in advance.

    Pros

Great coworkers to work with. The schedule is very flexible. You get a ten percent discount on everything . Learn to have great costumer service skills.
