I worked at Target (More than a year)

    Fellow employees were nice.flexible schedule.

    Cons

Managers didn't communicate well. One didn't seem to know what the other was doing.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good money per hour after 6 long years.

    Cons

Getting the hrs. to make it pay. The management is a revolving door of non skilled management and team leaders. All children. No seniority at all at Target. Been there 6 years and have averaged 12 hrs. a week. Holidays you do get more hrs. But so far in debt now, I will need every extra hour. Their bad management choices have cost our store customers. Look elsewhere if you need a job.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the workers who have been there longer than you.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

10% company discount, thats its only good point.

    Cons

No worker seniority. Even if you have been there much longer than the new hires, new hires usually get all the hours. 20 hr. minimum to keep benefits. Have lost all my benefits because of not enough hours to keep them. If you need a job, skip Target because there is nothing worthwhile there. At least Walmart lets you know what your in for. Target is an awful place to work. Think twice. They don't hire full time regular positions only team leads.

    Advice to Management

Management gets replaced every 6 months or so, so its hard to complain. Usually they are changed so much, you don't have enough time to complain.
