I have been working at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    get breaks on time
    teams are well organized
get to do more than the average person in retail

    Cons

clear bias in how people are promoted based on liberal views and automatically targeted the second one speaks about moving up in a position. Clear coordination against said persons who are not liberal. Gstl came up and said he was liberal and literally I said nothing. People will act nice and then turn around the second they think you are conservative or are trying to move up. Funny thing is I am not conservative at all, but in between. No political bias in prior retail jobs. Really surprised that people openly expect you to talk politics when you're supposed to working. Obviously, I don't come to work to talk politics especially when I don't even know you. Been here for almost 7-8 months now.

    Advice to Management

Don't talk about politics at work and keep it to yourselves thank you. I like breaks being on time and people that are friendly definitely pluses. Corporate get your down to 1833 and remind people to do their jobs. Lot's of people even Etl's screwing around and hiding in the office, not on the sales floor.

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    -Pays decent
    -Nice team members
    -Mid-shift isn't too bad

    Cons

    -Stressful work
    -Closing is awful and demanding
-Neglected to even train me; got mad at me for not being good on day 3 after no training...
    - Managers talk about employees behind their back
    - They don't tell you how to do anything until they're yelling at you for messing something up

    Advice to Management

Don't neglect or disrespect your employees. Please properly train people in the future, as it's not always something someone can just pick up and be good at day one. Be more organized and thoughtful because I have had nothing but problems (scheduling problems, forgetfulness, didn't even know who I was, never trained me, unable to trust management)
