    I worked at Target part-time

    Pros

Team members would nice and easy to get along with. Learned a lot from them as well.

    Cons

Some days were very unorganized and it was as if management had no idea what they were doing. Also on certain days we would be really understaffed. The scheduling had no order in it sometimes.

    Advice to Management

    Get a bit more organized.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fairly easy job a non-thinking individual can do. A team spirit. Fairly flexible managers.

    Cons

Backroom training is horrible. Overstocking the showroom is never corrected.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the hardlines people that try to keep your showroom a desirable place to shop. Your Push team needs to learn that overstocking the showroom just places an extra burden on the hardlines team.

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Target offers a minimum of $11 an hour. It also has a great team that is very inclusive, warm, and welcoming.

    Cons

I was only a seasonal hire, so I couldn't stay as long as I wanted to.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up!

I have been working at Target part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly people and balanced management. Always something to do. Equal employment opportunities for everyone. Great paying starter job for minors. Amazing benefits

    Cons

Gets repetitive (doing the same thing for hours on end), rude customers sometimes. Not many hours if working part-time, there are a lot of people working there at the same time so hours get tight sometimes.

    Holidays are horrible and stressful
Sometimes will schedule you for close and then open the next day.

I have been working at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pros of working here are the pay is extremely competive compared to other retail jobs and there are always opprotunities to move up.

    Cons

The cons are that they dont work around any schedules so if you have another job target has to be your main one.

    I worked at Target part-time

    Pros

Team members are quite friendly and everyone is willing to help you out. Pay was good since they raised their minimum to $11 an hour.

    Cons

Was hired going into seasonal as they were hiring for regular and seasonal. Told hr manager I was looking for a more well adjusted job and if this was only seasonal than I wouldn't of bothered but she said if I'm on time and no call offs and do my work I'll be kept. Well got a call mid January they no longer needed me and the seasonal time is over and they have no more hours to give. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to lure you in. Poor way of doing business. Hours suck. They give you the crappiest hours coming in at the crack of dawn or working you 6 hours a week and no remorse on what they do to you. They are a company tgat is basically looking for college kids who will work the low hours and the olde r people if not management are done away with by cutting hours so bad you can't make ends meet. Worst job I ever had

    Advice to Management

Quit deceiving people at the interview and telling them a bunch of lies tgat you don't intend to live up too. If you can't be honest than keep your mouth shut and don't lead people on. We can't work cashiering as back up and do pulls and zone and help customers all at one time. One or the other
