I worked at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible work days. Some managers will work with you.

    Cons

Favoritism was rampant. If your not liked you will not work.

I worked at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, hours, team culture, free food, and opportunities at Target. I would suggest any 16 year old to apply here. It will be a much better and rewarding experience than working at some smaller business.

    Cons

    Hard to get weekends off

    Advice to Management

I would let employees move around more. Let a cashier move to the salesfloor if they really want to. Job variety is the key to keeping employees around.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People are nice to work with
    Good pay
    Good workout

    Cons

Appreciation for employees is severely lacking
    Understaffed
Expectations for completion of duties even within a 4 hour work shift are redicolous if not impossible.
Stressful work environment is putting this place lightly

    Advice to Management

Show appreciation to your team more, and worry less about selling credit cards.
Appreciate what your team members do within the shift time constraints more and worry less about getting everything done
Saying thank you goes a long way

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most of the work staff was friendly, and the work load was easy.

    Cons

Hours were irregular. One week you'll work 25 hours, but the next you'll work 5.
Management was immature and petty at times.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

LOL... nothing. Seriously, nothing. It's retail.

    Cons

Everything. Management at my store is terrible. So much turnover. Leaders thin they're in high school with their cliques. Just terrible.
