I have been working at Target part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Fast-paced
Differing responsibilities, allows for unique tasks
I have liked most of my management and coworkers, but that is store-specific

    Cons

    Micromanaging
Pay scales poorly; new team member often make more than people with 5+ years of experience because base pay increases cancelled out performance raises

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They pay fairly well for a supermarket job (10/hr), and there's some flexibility on switching off shifts, picking up new ones, etc.

    Cons

At the beginning, you're signed up for a few 15 hour work week to start off. If they like you they double your hours at random slots and you have very little control over making your schedule. They also take calling off very seriously, always dangling my job over my head.

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very good competitive pay. Company contracts to make minimum wage $15 by 2020.

    Cons

Management doesn't care about your wellbeing. If you do your job well they will add everyone else's job. If you work another position at any time, and that position gets higher pay, you will NOT receive it. You get payed what your contracted position states.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your employees health. Share extra work equally among employees.

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They are very team oriented. The people are great to work with. I learned so much over my time span at Target. They are very flexible and will work with you while you are in school. I loved everything about my store.

    Cons

Not enough hours, Hr was not very helpful, some team members never did their jobs so it fell back on others

    Advice to Management

Make sure to give more hours to the people that do everything they can for the job. Also, HR needs to communicate better with ETLs. The HR should not lie to employees.
