I have been working at Target full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Allows you to move up in the company if you want to. Will help you reach the highest goal you want to achieve

    Cons

Hours can dramatically drop from time to time causing friction in the building between teams. Some of the more seasoned workers aren’t treated as well as they should be

    Advice to Management

    Keep your team members informed

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free food often, good effort for inclusive environment. Very team oriented.

    Cons

You never know with some of the management, just depends. I've had good/bad. The work load can be a lot at times depending on the story, but you definitely stay busy at all times. Very corporate policies.

    Advice to Management

Don't expect the impossible. Management gets really distanced from the actual operations of people on sales floor so often request really taxing amounts of work in short periods of time. Often unrealistic.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Adding the employee discount to the cartwheel app.Their are a lot of good people that work at Target and really do care about you.

    Cons

Some of the managers can be hard to deal with. They do not train some of the employees properly when they put them out on the floor. They hire a lot of employees, that should probably not be hired.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees better. They need to know that you care and are not just their for your self.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's nice because usually most members of leadership are willing to work with you on scheduling and the work itself isn't too difficult.

    Cons

There are some members of leadership who will take advantage of other teams to help themselves. Most teams are not all held to the same standard also

    Advice to Management

Treat each team member as if they are important to the company.
