    I worked at Target full-time

    Pros

Flexibility in schedule; ability to make the job what you want it be; on-site amenities; professional development opportunities available outside of core role.

    Cons

The IT systems leave a lot to be desired. It can turn a simple task into a full-blown project. Too many cooks in the kitchen slows down project efficiency.

    Advice to Management

Improve your IT systems. Make sure people are advancing not only based on their ability to "schmooze" well. Performance must count as well.
