    Pros

Lots of incentives and focus on personal needs of employees. For the most part it always felt as if you were seen and valued as an individual.

    Cons

There could be more efficient communication between the teams and more training on how to work outside of your own area.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I like almost all my coworkers. Target sometimes gives incentives for signing up guests for the Redcard. Some of my coworkers will play board games on their breaks with me in the breakroom. Breakroom also has free lockers fridge coffee maker TV the daily newspaper and several microwaves.

    Cons

    The occasional grumpy, inconsiderate guests.

    Advice to Management

Recognize seniority employees have and reward it to help decrease turnover.

I worked at Target part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people that shop at target are higher quality than some other retail stores. You get a company discount which combined with their store debit card can be very nice. They are always sure to give you every break and lunch you legally deserve.

    Cons

Sometimes there is high pressure to work fast. Depending on management, sometimes extra effort is not recognized. There are some team building things that were expected of me when I worked early morning unload and stock which really did not make sense time-wise.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management as a flow team member is to listen to listen to flow team lead and back room lead as they are closer to the people working on the floor. Also, take time to do the job you are asking your team to do so you can get a better understanding about the difficulty and time needed for the tasks.

I worked at Target (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the employees that have been their were great employees but time have changed and need new staff

    Cons

Revolving door for new employees, new training classes ever week and never kept the same people for more than 6 months

    All work and no pay

    Advice to Management

Pay more to retain employees, just a number at target and can be replaced
