I worked at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good employee discount. Can put that you have "supervisory experience" on your resume.

    Cons

You receive the title of "Team Lead" but in reality you are just a team member with extra responsibilities and tasks with no extra hours to get them done. High stress. Unrealistic expectations. No support.

    Advice to Management

Give your people the hours they need to get their jobs done.

I worked at Target full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Leadership education and the opportunity to challenge and learn from senior and junior level executives.

    Cons

The promotion and bonus system needs reviewed and remodeled.

    Advice to Management

Value all team members whether they are part or full time, younger or older. All team members have valuable input but sometimes you have to help them figure out how to tell you what it is they know and have learned.

I have been working at Target full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay Is higher then the competition, My boss is nice.

    Cons

The "great team culture" they talk about, is just words, they don't do any of the great things they talk about, in reality they treat there teams like trash.

    Advice to Management

Value your team members' in the stores, give team leads and pharmacy tech's a bonus (monthly) like the competition. IE. Kroger, Brookshire's, Freds. also bring back tuition reimbursement for pharmacy techs, and have a bigger focus on formal training for pharmacy.
