I have been working at Target part-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

Understanding and nice coworkers. Some of the supervisors are good too

    Cons

Modernization works only when the store is staffed properly.

    Advice to Management

Fully staff the store, please, or modernization will not work.

I worked at Target full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Get to work with a lot of different people. I enjoyed walking around for 8 hours because it helped me lose weight. You can window shop while you work.

    Cons

A con is that you are on your feet all day and it can get tiring. Pay is not great. Not much room for advancement past team unless you have a degree in that area. Have to work holidays and weekends.

    Advice to Management

    Raise the pay for management.

    I worked at Target

    Pros

Great employees to work with. Loved visual merchandising.

    Cons

New "better" strategies that make more work for the employees. Reducing labor force so that employees had to do more with less people.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to change the company from what was once a good company. By treating your employees poorly you are not going to keep the great employees that was what made target a step up from all the other big retailers.
