I worked at Target full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The Talent at Target is incredible - super smart people and a good HR screening process. Working on the Target Brand is incredible and they are always pushing the limits. The environment is intoxicating and invigorating. Salary is competitive. The HQ is pretty awesome with a lot of amenities and a lot of great places to meet and connect with peers.

    Cons

Benefits aren't great, merchandising runs the show. No gym or fitness reimbursement. Marketing doesn't get bonuses.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Target full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

You will work with great, high-performing people. Culture isn't for everyone but is energetic and fun.

    Cons

Can be competitive. The best people aren't always the ones moving upward. Selling yourself is just as, if not more, important as doing great work.

    Advice to Management

Evaluate more on performance, not reputation.
