I worked at Target part-time for more than a year

    Pros

I got paid more than minimum wage. It wasn't completely monotonous as I had other responsibilities. Coworkers seem to really appreciate your help.

    Cons

The powered cart pusher sucks so I had to manually push carts to be more efficient. Lots of manual labor. You're basically the muscles around the place.

I have been working at Target part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Flexible scheduling most of the time and competitive pay for retail. Most people are very pleasant and great to work around.

    Cons

The hardest workers get rewarded with more hard work and the slowest workers get rewarded with doing half the work their counter parts do. Some Team Leaders don't take responsibility for bad decisions and won't hear out team members when there is a difference of opinion

    Advice to Management

Spend more time recognizing your hard works and giving them rewards for a job well done

I worked at Target part-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Fun workplace environment - Easy scheduling and shift swapping

    Cons

    - There is no room to move up in this company - Despite it being a fun workplace if you get in with the right group of people, there is a fair amount of bullying which goes uncared about - I quit my job when promised a "behind-the-scenes" promotion which was given to somebody else due to them not being able to work with people on the floor in a friendly manner - I was the second out of eight people who would quit (walk-out)...
