I have been working at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are really friendly and easy to work with. The work environment is very low stress and while there are high expectations you don't feel like they're impossible to meet.

    Cons

Closing shifts can sometimes be extended past scheduled work time. Minimum/maximum hours available sometimes aren't followed exactly.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you're getting to know your hourly employees.

I have been working at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They work so well with my schedule and always make sure I'm not working myself to hard. They work really hard to make sure the team feels valued individually as well as a group.

    Cons

Not seeing my work as an accomplishment because it would be gone the next day. After working a long shift of organizing and making things look pretty, and then to come back the next day to see costumers had left things unfolded or in piles on the floor was always frustrating.

    Advice to Management

Make sure the whole team feels included.

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people, often autonomous work environments

    Cons

Executives can and will throw you under the bus for their benefit

    Advice to Management

Local HR cannot be bothered for anyone below the executive level, and executive management can be vindictive and favor specific employees with raises and premium work shifts, additional training and supervision is recommended
