I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay, changing the minimum pay to $11 soon
    Employe discount is 10%
If you're full time the benifits are good.

    Cons

A few of the store leaders and guest service leaders are very young and inexperienced with working with people with disabilities. They seem very fake when talking to you and some are just stright up rude to your face.
When it's slow you get very few hours.

    Advice to Management

Teach your STLs and GSTLs at this store how to recognize certain disabilities and what limitations they might have.

I worked at Target (More than a year)

    Pros

Getting paid for training? I'm supposed to put 5 words, here, so am just filling space at this point

    Cons

A FB friend posted a question: "Should I apply to Target?" See Advice To Management for my response.

    Advice to Management

Rachel Ingrid Robbins I worked at Target for day 1 of paid video watching. And NICE! There's 50 bucks. Day two was a bunch of {managers], {I was told by GlassDoor that my original word was a swear, so they wouldn't post my experience; it wasn't}t barking out stuff, not listening, reading from clipboards, and some post-Marines guy who decided this was a way to Have Control. Day 3 was a "heckish" [was supposed to remove bad language, guessing this was the offensive] one, where I was placed at a broken register, and after asking for help several times and being mocked...? Finally, Marines Guy came over and declared that my register was broken. Also-also, I'd said during my interview/ question and answer time that I *couldn't* run a register, because there's a flashing red strobe that goes off with every ring through( not sure if that's still the case), I've got epilepsy, it's a seizure trigger. Shoved onto register, anyway. Horrible. Day 4: called in, said, "I don't think Target and I are a good match. Can you send me my check, or should I come pick it up?"
