I have been working at Target full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You might get paid a dollar more at Walmart, but you will be treated like an imbecile. Target seems to work very hard to hire people of amiable temperament, and to trust you to have some general intelligence, and it makes an incredible difference. They people I'm working with are the kindest and most supportive team I've ever experienced. This is a seasonal job: I've just passed my boards, but I wholeheartedly recommend the Target experience. It's worth the hassle to work with people who are positive and incredibly polite to one another. Also the multiple discounts that you get as en employee are mental.

    Cons

The pace is incredible if you have any sort of work ethic. You might end up cursing your fellow man, because people just BOMB the Target of my location, even when the weather is hideous. But the place was born in the midwest, so that's just part of Target retail.
