    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Target has a flexible work schedule, and allows you to drive your development. The 10% discount is also a huge plus.

    Cons

In the midst of transformation, lots of uncertainty. Lacks clear growth strategy, there is a good vision but it is still unsure what strategy can and will be used to get there.

    Advice to Management

Keep working on the culture and providing a workable strategy for success. Put those in place and this company will be a top performing retailer.

I have been working at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Leadership allows to work from anywhere as long as you drive results.
    - People are kind and love to collaborate to get stuff done.
    - Pay is good compared to the industry.

    Cons

    - Leadership switches priorities on a dime.
    - Working with offshore requires wonky hours.

    Advice to Management

Stick with priorities and do not change them on a dime. It feels like management has been making decisions based on emotion rather than on hard data and facts.

    Cons

    - Lots of shifting changes that make management unsure about changes

    Advice to Management

Do a better job of communicating change to your team members! Team members understand change but can't be left in the dark about drastic upcoming changes that will impact their roles.

    Cons

Too many layers, difficult to promote when when you're exceeding expectations in your role, changing priorities

    Advice to Management

Focus on your existing team instead of worrying so much on those who have left and your team members won't leave
