I worked at Target full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great people that were hard working and knew what it took to get the job done. Bonus structure was a big pro

    Cons

Boss wasn't understanding of the needs of the team and overall ran into way to many issues. Team didn't feel supported

I have been working at Target

    Pros

Target's committment to the community. Not only do they committ alot of money each year but they committ volunteer hours. It is amazing how many team members love to give of their free time - to volunteer activities. I also believe it is contagious - as you cant help but want to participate - when you see the joy and enthusiasm surrounding all the various activities. Along with this - is their commitment to the Target...

    Cons

It use to be - that age didnt matter. As Target has grown - it has become apparent that it does matter and that experience no longer is valued.

    Advice to Management

Not to make asssumptions that those who have years of experience, arent open to change. Target has become more and more focused on college graduates and in return, does not value those with years of experience.
