    I worked at Target full-time

    Pros

Free Food in break room sometimes. Great when you don't have money.

    Cons

Team leads sometimes can be lazy. Which means extra work for those working under them. A lot and I mean a lot of work for overnight shift.

    Advice to Management

Choose better team leads. Pay for overnight should at least start at $11

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good job if you are in school and need a part time job. Get some discounts and deals as well.

    Cons

Pay. Its a part time job so there is no reason to complain as its more of a temporary in between job

10% off everything, east to learn what to do

    Cons

Dead end job, no room for advancement, get flak from both sides (management + customers)

    Advice to Management

Don't have different people telling you different things to do

I have been working at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I get to gain good customer service experience, and how to deal with all types of customers

    Cons

For people who you hire that are overqualified for the position you give them offer them advancement opportunities especially after the 3 month probation, if they do not do that many people will leave the job. Very understaffed and very inexperienced people in control, I do the work of what 2 to 2 and a half people do compensate me or I will look for better jobs that actually compensate there employees.

    Advice to Management

Have a mix of experienced and young people in charge not just young people, need to hire more people for all positions because an employee should not be working on the sales floor, being a cashier, and also have to sort items it carts.

    Pros

An advantage of working at Target is closer access to buy merchandise when one is working there. Convenient locations to work at. are another advantage of working there.

    Cons

Some people's opinions are that they believe that the store management are corporate lackeys who don't have much creative independent thinking intelligence. Some people's opinions are that they believe that they are corporate "yes people." Some people's opinions are that they believe that the store management is very abusive toward its employees and job seekers. After filing out an application, some job seekers have been put into a back room being ignored until they're finally called in for an interview about three hours later. Some people's opinions are that they believe that this particular Target stinks and is not a good place to be working at.

    Advice to Management

Please be more sensitive to people that work at Target. Please be more sensitive to people that apply at Target.
