I worked at Target full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Very good Company to work at. During the store expansion period - Target allowed its Constructions teams a wide spectrum of management styles as long as its built per plans and specifications.

    Cons

Due to lack of new store and remodel construction, Target retired 80% of Construction Department. Target needs to follow Walmart into the small floor plate buildings that can be developed in City and urban setting. Bring the stores to the guest.

    Advice to Management

Target needs to be more flexible - there is a lot of opportunities to develop in urban locations and flex their prototype size to capture the customers .... bring the store to the customers.
