I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked at Target during college. They accomdated my school schedule very well. Great communication between management and team members. Motivated to work hard and provide the best experience for customers.

    Cons

Too many changes were introduced during the short time I worked here. Nothing was consistent. They tried too many new ideas to improve guest experience and productivity, but in the end, they have to realize when they give the job of 3 people to one person...things aren't going to work out well.

    Advice to Management

    Keep things realistic and consistent.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

convenient commute, adequate access to facility,

    Cons

low scheduling of hours to work, poor security coverage hours during peak times when necessary

    Advice to Management

Have enough persons on-board per store so that the "Guests" can receive exemplary service that an adequate number of "Team Members can provide.

  5. "Honestly, management makes such a difference"

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Transparency ruled the day; sales goals and figures were shared in the daily "Huddle", new lines were previewed, information was shared. The store lead instructed us to "Have fun, take care of the guests and take care of each other."

    Cons

Then, management changed. And the entire attitude of the store changed. Now we were being told that we couldn't do anything right. We went from a top-performing store to not. And the fixes became more draconian, without ever solving the problem.

    Advice to Management

Give the employees the opportunity to engage in autonomy; being allowed to fix a problem for a guest without management getting involved.

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

everything about it is amazing. (being sarcastic)

    Cons

target is a great company to work in however I don't recommend anyone working at this location. if your willing to work here i want you to understand this is a place full of favoritism and HR is no help because they are baised. HR is very easily to manipulate by many leaders. every department has their pros and cons but DON'T WORK for logistics especially Backroom. The team lead in that department likes to harrass many female workers especially in beauty or softlines. This team leader has intimate relationships with his team members. however he makes sure that everyone in this store will be in his favor. Anything on camera he will make sure that Asset protection will delete any footage of him being intimate with certain team members. No one is allow to speak about this because he will threaten us by making our workload difficult. The corporate will try to investigate however he has a lot of people covering his tracks. This is a Warning if you do decide to work here and i hope this review will help you make a proper decision. and if you do decide to work here and encounter him please note that he will approach you in a friendly manner and will manipulate you to make it seem like he is a victim. he does this to everyone so that he can look like an angel and everyone else as a bad guy. please dont fall for his charms. i have reached out to HR however this HR have annouce confidential information to team leaders and ETL and now this team lead is aware about the case over harrassment/ fraterization that he is trying to manipulate the case in his favor. THIS is UNFAIR! which shows that the company doesn't know how to handle fraterization cases.

    Advice to Management

Please hire a private investigator and have them follow this manager after work or during work.
