    Pros

Overall experience was great. Great benefits.

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Hours, friendly coworkers, goal oriented

    Cons

Management was always on your back, red cards were a MUST, was meant to work part time but got full time hours, customers are the worst, long days on your feet, reprimanded if your goal is not reached that week.

    Advice to Management

Give your cashiers a break with the red cards. Customers don’t want to hear it, cashiers don’t want to ask because of snappy customers. Why not practice good customer service instead of shoving a credit/ debit card in someone’s face every time they shop, it’s uncomfortable for both sides.

I have been working at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Every 2 hours, you get a break. Snacks every week, very open minded about whom they hire & don’t seem to discriminate (autistic, socially awkward, gender fluid, learning disabilities all welcome), great discounts, caring company

    Cons

Working weekends, working split shift, no company parties/activities, pressure to get red cards when no one has checks.

    Advice to Management

Accept debit card instead of a check for debit card approval

I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly employees, when asked questions very helpful, some management friendly

    Cons

Employees talking, standing around with being told more than 4 times, management will tell you one thing, then when u go do that task, you ask for another task, they repeat themselves to do that task or they tell u to do something even though ur new and guess where it goes when uve never been trained on that task. Unfriendly but friendly management. Management takes certain tones of ur voice out of proportion, so have a sweet friendly voice. Dont get fired after a week in a half, 6 shifts only, early morning flow team got fired for being unfit, uneffiecny, and had to be told task more than 9 times. Wasnt even there enough to prove more of myself.

    Advice to Management

    Retrain ur positions of management.

I worked at Target full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I made a lot of friends at target, and for the most part everyone that worked there was helpful, fun and hardworking.

    Cons

The ETL that was at the target i worked at was very stressful to be around due to her bad attitude. Also we had huge workloads and were almost always incredibly under staffed.

    Advice to Management

To not pick favorites and give promotions based on your own bias, give promotions to your employees that work the hardest.

I worked at Target (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Flexibility to work in different areas of the store. I worked almost all team leader positions and enjoyed the change.

    Cons

Resources are limited. Work is challenging when there is little time and staff to support you.

    Advice to Management

Working along side the team would help
