I worked at Target part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone is friendly and helps you if you need it. The environment was everything you would want in a job and more. The break room is always a fun place to be and everything target does for their employees makes you feel very appreciated.

    Cons

Early shift(4-6), earlier during the holidays(midnight to whenever). Honestly a very underpaid job for all the stuff you have to do.. well at my store it was anyway..

    Advice to Management

Help the people working for you. If they are asking for help, they probably really need it, maybe have an extra person or two around to help wherever it is needed.

I worked at Target full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits for team leaders, great co-workers.

    Cons

Executives disconnected from reality, corporate even worse. Run their employees dry to make sales plan. Always understaffed. Low pay for job responsibilities. Favoritism. Constantly changing routines for team leaders like "we are in college." High Turnover amongst sales floor team members due to no hours. No respect given to team leaders or team members by upper management.

    Advice to Management

wipe the "I went to college" so I don't have to get my hands dirty chip off your shoulder. Its funny how once I mentioned I was a college grad as well attitudes changed from upper management. They secretly look down on everyone who works there as a "slave"
