I worked at Target part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule. Meet nice people. Gain customer service skills.

    Cons

    Discount is only 10%!!!!
Very segmented level wise. Team leads and ETLs don't mingle well with part time employees. They constantly ask what you're doing and question you.
They play favoritism big time! I was there three years and newcomers were promoted faster than I was, even though I was far more qualified. Also, If you are doing well in one position in the store, they won't move you because they don't want to lose your experience.

    I worked at Target full-time

    Pros

This was my first job ever. Working a retail job like this was great for me. It was fast paced, I had a lot of different positions around the store that I would do. From working with the public at the front of the store, to pulling stock at the back of the store. Having to be prepared to work any position they may need me to forced me to learn a lot of basic job skills that will benefit me at any job I may have in the future. I worked alone at times, I worked with a team at times. I was responsible for myself at all times, but I also had team members I had to be responsible for at times. I gained leadership skills, conflict resolution, how to effectively multitask, and a plethora of other feats that have stayed with me through the years, and will continue to help me to excel at anything I want to do.

    Cons

I have no cons, I loved this job.

I have been working at Target part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I learned the process of baking pizza; I learned the allowable time before certain food gets spoiled; I learned basic cashiering and how to maintain and run a cafe as your own when your coworker called out and you have to work by yourself

    Cons

My supervisor never appreciated my contribution to the company. She treated me as if i don't exist. She listens and believes only to what majority say (for politics' sake).

    Advice to Management

Hire key people such as supervisors who are mature and can influence people without personal interests such as to be merely popular and liked by many
