I worked at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Eh its spacious and theres always parking

    Cons

-There is always robbery and its unsafe at night.
    - Upper management like district managers are really horrible. ALways changing things every day and so because of that nothing ever gets done. Then they blame us for not finishing stuff, but they always change the game plan (especially last minute).
-THey are also rude too. Some of them feel so "entitled" as well. You dont want management like that who just abuse their position. You want management who wants things done and so that we can gain reputation.

    Advice to Management

I worked at the location on 2675 Geary Blvd in SF like a 6 months ago.
    - My advice is to Target CEO himself. Fire the entire upper management and replace them all. They are they reason why nothing gets done and no one is happy. Some people left because the upper management doesnt know how to run a store and therefore no one is really happy working there.

Seriously they need to pay me like 50/hour to deal with this kind of management.

I have a few coworkers who quit as well after I left.

I worked at Target full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

the pay every other week is good

    Cons

    - micromanagement
    - deaf management that doesn't listen
    - all the concerns were coming from management and zero from customers
    - matter over mind
    - apathetic management

    Advice to Management

    - care for your people and empathize
    - listen to your front line, they have gems of feedback from your frustrated customers
    - Target clients are customers, not guests, it's not hospitality firm for God sake. Unless you provide free drinks upon arrival, I doubt
    - stop shoving RED cards down people's throat, cornering customers at the counter and telling them what they don't want to hear is SPAM with NO option to opt out
    - RED card motto should be "5% what a waste." It's an absolute lame discount
