-receiving department neglected and/or treated poorly by other departments

    Advice to Management

Treat receiving a little better, listen to and support them if they need help, hire a larger team for the department (1 or 2 people won't help)

I have been working at Target full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay and Benefits were good. The team atmosphere made it easy to come to work. It was also nice knowing I could make an impact on a daily basis.

    Cons

Work life balance. It's retail and the hours are very inconsistent. Also the direction of the company doesn't look too good. The messages from corporate are inconsistent and they no longer know what they want to stand for.

    Pros

Team Leads are good about getting you breaks and helping solve problems (when they are around). Snacks in the break room and friendly people.

    Cons

Very hard to get time off or change your schedule. Management pushes way too hard for RedCards and you get lectured if you aren't meeting quota (which sometimes you don't no matter how hard you try). Sometimes no team lead is around for customers and they get very upset with you.
