    I worked at Target part-time

    Pros

friendly co workers, friendly employer, decent working environment, not a bad choice for part time job for students

    Cons

the pay is too low for anyone working part time, not a good choice for family supporters

    Advice to Management

Management does a pretty good job in my opinion, not much to advice them upon. Good job guys ha ha.

    Pros

The people in this company seem to be nice people, and easy to get along with.

    Cons

Everything is fake. You know the whole perception is everything, you literally have to fake it till you make it.

    Advice to Management

Upper management should also practice accountability and listening. You're not always right.

    Pros

Compensation is great and the company offers a real career path to grow with.

    Cons

Work life balance is hard to come by and the hours get difficult

    Advice to Management

Retention is an opportunity at all levels. Something needs to give. Improve compensation or get better at hiring more serious applicants. External hires tend to be less engaged than internal promotions.

I worked at Target (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked in electronics and they give you a lot of freedom to take care of the department. Management gives tasks and checks in, and generally lets you go at your own pace. Nice fun environment. We often had free food in the break room.

    Cons

Even though I was paid more to be in electronics they would still schedule a good amount of days on register - which is a much more boring job, and you don't get a say. Not a bad experience, but it is much less fun than working on the floor.

    Advice to Management

My managers were outstanding. I hope they're the same way at other stores.

I worked at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No Pro's to be totally honest.

    Cons

Customers are really impatient, managers are really entitled and disrespectful, your safety is not a concern to the management team what so ever.

    Advice to Management

You are not the CEO of the company, so stop acting like it. Be more respectful and courteous of your employees safety and concerns. Stop acting like your so entitled and above everyone else when you clearly aren't. Management and employees are both human beings which should both be treated fairly with the same level of respect. And keep your promises, I was promised at the beginning of my interview that I would be lead up to being promoted into HR within the 1 month of me working there. Clarify.

I worked at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits, hours, team culture, free food, and opportunities at Target. I would suggest any 16 year old to apply here. It will be a much better and rewarding experience than working at some smaller business.

    Cons

    Hard to get weekends off

    Advice to Management

I would let employees move around more. Let a cashier move to the salesfloor if they really want to. Job variety is the key to keeping employees around.
