I worked at Target (More than a year)

    Pros

It was cool getting to know the workers, and meeting new people

    Cons

Management did not have much clue what they were doing - confused calls would usually be placed in the walkie-talkie but oftentimes no one would respond because almost everyone was clueless

    Advice to Management

    Step it up?

    Advice to Management

not feasible workload, wish they were more understanding

I have been working at Target part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun team members. I love the vibe I got from my coworkers. The store was bright and very clean and things were easy to find.

    Cons

The ETLs didn't care if you were sick, they made you feel guilty for calling off. They don't like people that work less than 20 hours a week. Too demanding.

    Advice to Management

I wish they would understand that some people that work at Target part time have a life outside of work. We have school and other obligations.

Great benefits. As long as you can get the hours ( over 20 I believe) the company has great healthcare and options to set up a retirement package.

    Cons

Scheduling problems. Expectation to work on holidays which you cannot get out of even with three months notice.

    Advice to Management

    none
