I worked at Target full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are some good people there, they try to make it as fun as possible

    Cons

They overwork their team leads to the point that its ridiculous. Every cut to hours shifts the customer service burden to the team leads, leaving them less time to do all that is expected of them in relation to being a team lead. one year I was one of three hard-lines team leads. When the other two quit, I wrote all the team member reviews for that year, I never even got so much as a thank you for the extra work.

    Advice to Management

Have some integrity. Don't string your employees along. Have the intestinal fortitude to tell your bosses that you need more resources on the labor side- don't take the attitude Robyn Godsil takes: If I tell them I can't do it, it won't be long before they replace me.

I have been working at Target full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

As hard as I try to think I can not come up with something positive.

    Cons

The wheels of Targét move very slow... the biggest complaint I have is that just because someone does not have a Bachelor Degree does not mean that they are not qualified to be in upper management. Please tell me why someone that has a Bachelors in Liberal Arts is more qualified than some with over 15+ years of management experience with a proven track record of success.
