I worked at Target full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Clean work environment.
    Very organized system.
    Benefits are fair.
Requesting time off is simple and easy.
    Decent opportunity for OT.
    Management.

    Cons

I don't believe there's much cons to working here. However if you don't finish your end of the day duties when the store closes on time, you must stay to finish them. The absolute worse time this happened was when we were to get out at 11pm, but didn't leave til 2am.

    Cons

Not many chances for growth, heavy employee favoritism, company more willing to hire new employees than train current ones

    Advice to Management

Maybe believe in your employees once and a while.

I worked at Target full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k match, time off, tuition reimbursement, etc. Take full advantage if you can! Really committed to career growth and development. Base salary and bonus is also extremely competitive for the industry.

    Cons

You give up weekends, holidays, and put in long hours. They say it’s 10 hour days, but that’s a good day! Very little opportunity to make vacation plans or travel during any peak seasons so the huge amount of vacation you build up is worthless.

    Pros

You get to prioritize your work day. The coworkers were nice too.

    Cons

Management is unorganized and when they screw up they blame the associates.

    Advice to Management

Instead of bullying associates when you screw up. Do the right thing and own up to your mistakes. The leadership is unorganized.
