    I worked at Taro full-time

    Pros

Stable company, great benefits and pay. From what I understand there is new management. Hopefully they will have positive changes.

    Cons

Unfortunately employees who've been with the company for a long time and were used to train new employees, went through efforts in sabotaging and making sure new employees failed. I found it difficult to get through the day due to nerves "watching my back". The company will miss out on keeping talent if allowed to continue.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention. Have conversations with your staff members. Review exit interviews.

I have been working at Taro full-time

    Pros

TARO Is a great company and position for breaking into Big Pharma.

    Cons

District Management isn't that helpful and seems to be number watchers vs. actual sales managers. Absolutely NO growth opportunities !

    Advice to Management

Get More involved not just riding along and flying all over the country to say you are a manager and eating at five star restaurants stop being negative treat all your sales team members the same stay focused on work and not getting involved in your reps personal business and gossiping with other reps which causes team conflicts . Learn to lead by example and remember you're not perfect a manager who doesn't trust you will never let you succeed.

I have been working at Taro full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Strong understanding staff, opportunity for growth, good compensation, immensely good health/dental/eye plan. Honestly a good place to work every day.

    Cons

Company needs to move into the present. No flex work hours, no work from home, not a lot of employee centric perks other than standard compensation (which again is very good).

    Advice to Management

A little goes a long way. Summer Friday's needs to return, and real summer Friday's ;not work extra during the week and you can leave early on Friday. Show the employees you are actually giving them a no strings attached benefit.

I have been working at Taro full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

No real pros, except brand generic concept is good if covered. If you had a great manger which I did then it was good, every reason to stay if you had a great manager

    Cons

Management is a revolving door. No objectives EVER given. Bonus changes...they use Chinese math. No weekly or up do date rankings. Don't listen to field reps. Last product launch was a dud.
Things would change on a dime from day to day or week to week or every month. Small fly by the seat of your pants pharma. Small managed care dept only 1-2 persons for the entire Nation....not good.

    Advice to Management

Be consistent. Listen to your Field Reps...THEY know what's going on. BE competitive with the competition. Put more products in the Rep's bag. The brand generic works better. Get more people in managed care to get products on formulary FASTER
