None that i can think of. Even my Indian colleague who was my lead java developer said he wouldnt work for TCS
Not hiring chinese and anyone that arent Indian
I got a job description and after sending my profile to be considered, they sent back an email and flat out said that they wasnt hiring Chinese.. i told them i wasnt chinese, but vietnamese... they changed their tone and said they werent hiring Vietnamese consultants either.. They were only considering Indians..
Well i guess the consultant business got its bad rap because of companies like this.
I wouldnt consider a full time with company like this until i got an indian citizenship or something.
Advice to Management
Whats the deal of hiring only Indian consultants?
Big client names against ur resume. Ability to maintain Relationship with client. Toughness to take any nonsense available in the market. Ethical values and equal opportunity to both males and females.
bureaucracy, favouritism especially since management is a of particular region. Long projects so same work for ages. No thinking and challenges posted on job. Incompetitive management. No transparency in anything. No communication by management. Performance appreciation totally based on dependency in coming assignment and your ability to keep your manager happy by accepting whatever he says and never expressing any of your views. No freedom to exercise your ideas. Almost no growth and low salaries.
Advice to Management
Be innovative. Give chance to juniors and young blood. Be open to new ideas. Start acting like a consulting company and not be consulted by your clients of what is the right answer. Start taking more competitive work that will thrive employees to work harder. Invest more in research operations.
