I have been working at Tata Motors full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent learning & development opportunities, lower work pressure most of the time, not much problems of leaves, less frequent strict demands of stretching at work.

    Cons

Strict punch timings with no flexibility, plants just like jail with high security, very big company hence very slow growth, very less increase in compensation if your salary is low, great variation of compensation at same level of grade & work, low recognition opportunity, no employee engagement focus, poor medical & health benefits, celebrates ethics weeks but most unethical company.

    Advice to Management

Compensation revision for deserving & loyal employees, policies review, just compare with MNCs & you will better get it..!!

I worked at Tata Motors full-time

    Pros

A very good MNC to start career in Manufacturing sector in India. A good opportunity to move to JLR if you are talented. You get to work in different functions in initial years which is a very good opportunity for entry level graduate.

    Cons

Salary is not as seen in manufacturing industry. And factories are quite old so quite boring some times. In last few years TML is not doing well in passenger cars so you might feel down sometimes.

Stipend offered is good considering that it is a core mechanical company

    Cons

Work given in the company to interns is not what a graduate expects after studying mechanical engineering.
Work culture is also not good

    Advice to Management

Some good projects should be given to the interns so that it is beneficaial for them also and they learn something.
