    I have been working at Tata Steel full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    They seemed to be in a hurry to just hire up anyone ASAP. They did not consider proper conduct or validity of points in the Group discussion.

    Cons

    Did not even read the form they asked us to fill. Completely technical interview yet such steep shortlisting from meager Group discussion: 24 to 4!

    Advice to Management

    and took just one from the entire institute! not fair if u come on the first day!

    I have been working at Tata Steel full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Nothing is the best for working here.This is the most poisonous three letters word "EGO".

    Cons

    We should need to eliminate that people who are generally suffering from Ego. The task is very though so need help of few powerful chair person.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing has to be suggested them because they are usually busy to spend their time with home work from their duty hours.Again require to help of MD TV sir.

    Nothing, Nothing, Nothing, Nothing, Nothing

    Cons

    Good Company with highly unprofessional people
    There is a huge gap in policy and actual practice.
    After working for 6 years at a Sr Level for settlement dues since 6 months they are playing around

    No meaning of any advice

    1. Interesting Work (occasionally)
    2. Pseudo Government Organisation
    3. Brand Name

    1. Top Management completely unaware of ground realities
    2. Hypocritical in Ethics and Values, large cases of corruption or conflict of interest goes unnoticed
    3. Weak HR (among other Tata Companies)
    4. Low quality of talent development
    5. Discrimination based on sex and caste. (Probably religion as well)

    Advice to Management

    1. Regular Rotation and feedback of IL2's from reporting managers
    2. Escalation Mechanism of HR issues by-passing BU HR's and Head HR
    3. Fast-track intervention in cases of corruption, discrimination allegations

    Paid on time - usually!

    Cons

    Highly qualified staff with 20 years plus experience being passed over for jobs which were instead given to managers son with no experience!

    Advice to Management

    youre corrupt, your ways are prehistoric and you wont survive if you had to get a job anywhere else and manage fairly, disgusting practices

    Only name is Tata steel otherwise employees are treated as slaves

    There are no cons as such except inequality in stipend paid to interns

    When world is fighting for equality these days, we hope you would also start giving equal salaries for equal jobs.

    Work environement ok in very few teams like projects

    Cons

    lots of people unwilling to work or be progressive. Also all the 'ethical' is a load of hogwash and nothing seems to be followed in action though there are strong policies.
