    Negative Outlook

I worked at Tata Tinplate full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Cannot find a single reason to work here

    Cons

Politics, politics and more politics. It will teach you all you need to become a local MLA because for becoming a PM/CM you need to have done some work and here you can survive without doing any work.
you shall succeed and get promoted if you are a bengali or if you lick the feet of your bosses.
HR is inexistent and no policies or all policies are just on paper just for torturing the few sincere employees.
Majority of the senior management has no touch with ground reality and act like as if they are all superior than Bill Gates.
You will retire at the position you are hired if you work sincerely and honestly. However if you backstab, steal and butter your manager, very soon you shall rise up the ranks with no responsibility and ok salary.
Peons of MNCs and good companies earn better than what managers get here.

    Advice to Management

Please close this company soon as the roots of the organization are rotten and get a life.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Tata Tinplate full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Perks offered by the company were really good including the residence, club membership etc. which you enjoy at all Tata concerns. Cost of living in Jamshedpur is not that high hence you can save a good bit of your salary.

    Cons

Limited growth for future. Tinplate production is a specialized work and not many companies in India do it which reduces switching options if you work in Tinning line. However, if you get work in CRM its better.

    Advice to Management

The company is facing difficulties in terms of generating sales due to pressure faced from the high-quality imports. There is an urgent need to beef up marketing to increase topline.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Tata Tinplate as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

I was there as a intern and what I saw that the work load is not much. Workers are mostly very friendly, also the working conditions are also good. The environ in which you start is quiet beneficial for an amateur to improve his technical skills. It provides very good chances to grow as employee in the organization.

    Cons

the organisation structure was a bit confusing, the management was very careless. nothing was organised properly. there was also no fixed time to come or go. There are senior management political challenges. Also company is saturated with too many employees that choosing a right option is challenging. We have to accept… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Advice to Management

Package for fresher candidate should be increased..
