I worked at Tattoo Manufacturing full-time

    Pros

Wonderful employees who really care about the product they are making.

    Cons

The CEO & CFO create an atmosphere of stress & anxiety, and can be verbally abusive under high stress. The CEO has a mantra "A players hire A players"..funny, since several of his direct hires were either fired or quit unexpectedly. Layoffs happen without warning and severance is given at the whim of the CEO & CFO.

    Advice to Management

FYI: Steve Tooker is no longer the CEO..Mitch Pisik is CEO

    Pros

benefits (partial paid - not very affordable unless it is just for self), vacation+personal time+holidays,

    Cons

Little advancement, too few people doing too much work, minimal raises every 16 months or so.

    Advice to Management

What's the point in giving advice to management? They don't listen anyways.

I have been working at Tattoo Manufacturing full-time

    Pros

Free parking, free temp tattoos and a paycheck with minimal benefits

    Cons

The CEO has driven out alost all competent people. He is not looking for solid people to do the job, but for "yes" people. Tends to favor women in a sexual harassment filled environment. Turnover is rampant and the CEO takes no ownership of the results of his decisions.

    Advice to Management

Advice for the Board - Hire a CEO who is more interested in his people than one who wants to be a big fish in a small pond. Stop the bleeding before it is too late

    Pros

Can't think of any.pros about it. Fun product.

    Cons

Poor benefits -- lose your vacation if you don't take it and sometimes you can't take it. Many employees looking for other jobs.

    Advice to Management

Need to treat people better. Employees are used and then thrown away. Not treated with decency or respect. Very poor working environment.

I worked at Tattoo Manufacturing full-time

    Pros

Immediate co-workers were wonderful people and cared about the quality of work they were producing. Enjoyed the enthusiasm of the individuals on my team.

    Cons

There is an overwhelming amount of micromanagement coming from the new CEO. In addition, a once fun and creative enviroment has become hostile, unorganized, and frankly an enviroment that the majority of people at the company hate working in. Instead of coming together to innovate and enjoy their work, people are now there only for the paycheck.

    Advice to Management

Learn to allow your employees to do their jobs, that is why they were hired. Employees are being stifled and the business is suffering. In addition, a little compassion, understanding, and interest in your employees would help a lot. Stop treating them like dollar signs and start treating them like people.

    Pros

    Health benefits and 401 K.

    Cons

Low salaries, and no work/life balance

    Advice to Management

CEO of the company to pay close attention to Savvi division management. There are issues of non-professionalism there and a lot of mistakes.

I worked at Tattoo Manufacturing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's a job with a paycheck. Large enough that you may be able to hide from the internal warfare between management.

    Cons

There is a ridiculous "Cultural Contract" posted throughout the facility and all of the tenets have been violated by the various management individuals, including the former CEO, who ran this place. rumor has it the board forced him out because of his behavior. Employees live in fear, triangulation is epidemic, nepotism is as well and there is sexual harassment training; but such harassment was endemic by certain senior management. This company is on the way down. Turnover amongst mid-management high. Blue-collar employees treated extremely poorly.

    Advice to Management

The company places no value on it's employees. That's probably due to the personalities that have run it along with the venture capital-oriented ownership. It's a classic example of corporate double-speak.
