I have been working at Taylor|Anderson LLP full-time

    Pros

Great people, friendly atmosphere. We always have a good time and enjoy coming to work.

    Cons

The salaries are very low and the billable hour requirements are very high.

    Advice to Management

When you find a quality employee, pay them more to keep them around. It will reduce the turnover rate and improve the overall moral of the firm and quality of our product.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Taylor|Anderson LLP full-time for more than a year

    Pros

none - do not work here!

    Cons

The managing partner in Irvine, rarely goes to the office to do work and if you do a great job on a case, he takes credit and he consistently blames everyone else for his ethical violations and mistakes

    Advice to Management

Watch what the managing partner in Irvine is doing - he is at home 4 days a week.... "working"

I worked at Taylor|Anderson LLP full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

They hire young paralegals so you can easily make friends. Good camaraderie mostly. But, billable hours can be hard to meet and lots of stress. Overtime sometimes required. I felt overworked. Good 401k.

    Cons

Paralegals and Legal Secretaries- a bit of a revolving door. Partners can be hard to work with and call outside of working hours. Cliques, talking behind backs. Travel or planning travel and then cases settling last minute is not ideal for those with children which is why they hire young.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people, and they will stay longer. Give better raises and bonuses. Keep up the good work with the 401k but help employees get benefits for family too.

    I worked at Taylor|Anderson LLP

    Pros

The people working at the firm were great. Very relaxed working environment and the employees are hard workers who know how to crack a joke, and do so often. Good opportunity to get involved in litigation at an early stage in your career. Good place to build up your experience for a better job somewhere else.

    Cons

High turnover. The Colorado office houses the two named partners and the Colorado office makes all the decisions. The feeling among employees is that the named partners are just trying to line their pockets with the business model being work the associates to the bone with below market pay. From the short time I was at the firm, I watched several hard-working loyal employees who loved the firm leave because they... were not being treated right. Toxic environment.
