I have been working at Teach for America full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the best professional development, very organized, focuses on continuously learning, people truly care for each other, amazing mission :)

    Cons

Some times the work load can be a lot, there is a high bar for strong results (as there should be), but it can be stressful at times.

    Advice to Management

Keep prioritizing DEI. This is what sets you apart and keep caring about the people first, performance second. If you want to increase staff retention, just increase salaries to be more competitive (especially in cities with higher costs of living).

I worked at Teach for America part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I was a campus campaign coordinater. This position helped me with networking, meeting with students, great work experience, good pay for a part time internship, good resume builder.

    Cons

Alot of hard work... if you don't have a strong work ethic or a passion to end educational inequity I wouldn't suggest working here. But I loved my experience.

    Advice to Management

    None! I loved my supervisor.

Teach for America has a great staff culture and benefits package. The mission is really great and everyone is friendly and easy to talk to.

Sometimes staff culture experience can depend on which team you're on, but management is usually very good about handling feedback and really listening and taking action when you have a concern
