I worked at Teach for America full-time

    Pros

Teach for America allowed me to get first-hand classroom experience and discover my passion for educational equity. It was great to be part of a mission-driven organization.

    Cons

Support was sometimes inadequate, both ongoing throughout the year and during the summer institute training. The job was incredibly stressful, but such is life as a teacher.
