I have been working at Team Fishel full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is a great company and I have become part of the Fisher Family. We are all part owners of the company due to the fact that we fund the cash profit sharing plan.

    Cons

Being able to take what you have learned and go elsewhere is a very hard task. I have learned a lot working with Team Fishel, my goal is to continue to work for this company but I don't think a transfer would be in my best interest.

    Advice to Management

More jobs need to be created as they have been in the past. This a growing company and will continue to grow. Take more advice from those teammates out in the field because they are the ones that are physically making the company profitable.

I have been working at Team Fishel full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

flex schedule, laid back, the individuals that work here are all very great to work with. Some sort of raise every year.

    Cons

No PTO or sick days, Health Insurance is just okay but has improved in my 2 years at the company. Gain little transferable knowledge due to the fact that it is so one project focused. A lot of leaders without understanding what their duties are. Little room for growth within the company.

    Advice to Management

Follow through and communicate with the employees. Think things through before setting things in place.

I worked at Team Fishel full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Decent pay, paid travel expenses

    Cons

All "On the field" Foremen are raging alcholics... Treat new employees as very expendable. Requires on the road travel. Once laid off over 15 employees 10 days before christmas.. After job was winding down.

    Advice to Management

Treat the people who work for you better.... Meaning the ones who actually use shovels.... Because most don't

I have been working at Team Fishel full-time

    Pros

The pay is good. The company seems to be well run at the highest level. Just secured a large contract so job security shouldn't be an issue.

    Cons

Management tends to overreact to customer (the only customer) complaints and over promise the staff's ability to produce. To make good on the promises, management enacts mandatory overtime; currently at mandatory 58 hrs weekly. Now to be fair, the manager's also work this schedule but its impossible to have any balance at home. They tend to choose favorites and prop them up despite shortcomings or failures.

    Advice to Management

My best advice would be to assess the staff and understand their abilities; don't run off your productive employees by pushing them to carry the underachiever's load.

I have been working at Team Fishel full-time

    Pros

New equipment, lots of hours, profit sharing

    Cons

Hire alot of people with little to no experience and people with bad attitudes

    Advice to Management

More vacation time or change the amount of time before getting a second week. Get rid if people with bad attitudes. Pay more to get better workers with experience
