I have been working at TeamHealth full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great place to find a career (not simply a job). Good work life balance.
No micro-management and more than adequately pay.

    Cons

You would expect the health benefits to no be so limited and to be more affordable....

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!!

I have been working at TeamHealth full-time

    Pros

The front line staff are an amazing group of people. They are intelligent, dedicated to TTH, hard working and supportive of each other.

    Cons

Don't expect to be recognized or compensated for hard wok and dedication. Long 10-11 hour days, working weekends and taking on additional responsibilities is ignored and overlooked. The morale is at an all time low due to upper managements' unrealistic expectations and the workload placed on front line staff.

    Advice to Management

People are looking elsewhere for job opportunities. I know of 6 experienced individuals within my department, including myself, that are actively seeking other employment due to upper managements' indifference.

I have been working at TeamHealth full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Having always worked in healthcare, this organization is the most focused on "doing the right thing" and honestly has the best people in the business working here. It seems like any person I interact with, from the very top to entry-level, is professional, courteous, and helpful. TeamHealth is focused on why they do what they do and this inspires me to work really hard but also makes the wok I do much more enjoyable.

    Cons

The company is so large that they are not as nimble communicating changes and adopting technology. There is a mix of "thinking out of the box" and "doing things the way they have always been done". Sometimes the latter leads to inefficient processes.

    Advice to Management

I am less productive because of barriers related to IT/my company-issued laptop. Please consider focusing more efforts on improving the way we interact with technology. The people in the IT department are great but the tools are not.
