    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Teavana full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free Tea, Great Environment, Benefits and Tuition available. They really support growth within the company. Whether it's been my growth or that of my team, my area manager supports me down the line. The team members that have proven themselves have been promoted within a year.

    Cons

Payroll is different depending on title and pay rather than just hours.

    Advice to Management

Needs more communication between Starbucks and Teavana as far as products that are carried in the Starbucks store. I'm hoping they also transition the Starbucks POS system into the Teavana stores soon seeing as right now we are using an outdated system that piggy backs off of Starbucks.

    I worked at Teavana part-time

    Pros

Unlimited free tea during your shift, free swag sometimes.

    Cons

Underpaid for expectations of sales volume; bonus structures are bogus and difficult to achieve even in the highest traffic malls

    Advice to Management

Pay associates a better hourly wage to retain talent, restructure sales tactics (you come off as really pushy if you follow the prescribed sales techniques)

I worked at Teavana part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I genuinely liked my coworkers, they were great and hardworking people. Free tea while working was fantastic!

    Cons

The amount of pressure and stress put on achieving sales goals was ridiculous considering the wage paid. We were asked to lie to customers and use sales techniques that I found to be pushy and obnoxious.

I worked at Teavana full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Complimentary tea, weekly pay, high-end shopping environment

    Cons

Substandard working conditions, poor training program, unprofessional work behavior, favoritism shown from upper management to sales associates, insubordination, unobtainable sales goals, need I say more?...the list goes on...

    Advice to Management

Treat all employees with dignity and respect, have a professional work environment where employees look forward to coming to work everyday

    Drinking tea and...well that's all.
