    Pros

    A lot of exposure to new technologies, and the best training grounds for a fresher.

    Cons

    Change the middle level of management employees that you have, and start to encourage fair play in promoting deserving candidates, people who have not contributed at all in the project they should never be promoted, what I mean is that there should be some amount of justification.
    Also, I feel that the appraisals should be done both ways, i.e. the team members should be allowed to rate there managers, this way the middle management people will become answerable.

    Advice to Management

    Advice to Management

    Please treat employees fairly and equally. They are the basic building blocks of the company. Don't treat an employee in lower and higher grade differently.

    Pros

    Okay place to work in case you are unable to find a job anywhere else. Its a shame, but dont have much to say here.

    Cons

    False commitments, Low employee morale overall, No employee benefits, Unfair and disrespectful Management. After working for a couple of years - I not found quality of resources in the company, especially the Sr Mgmt. Unethical measures to retain employees and contracts.

    Okay place to work in case you are unable to find a job anywhere else. Dont have much to say here.

    Pros

    If you are technically unskilled and know to to talk sweet to managers you have a very good chance of survival in the company
    As far as Indian clients are concerned they may even ask you to go to the railway station and book tickets for them
    You will never get the job for which you were hired even if there is a opening matching your skillset this is because the resource management team is a very unskilled one

    Cons

    If you work two years in TechMahindra you will become a vegetable ie a person who is technically a zero
    A few project managers will even treat you like their slaves and no one is going to hear your complains coz the management only listens to the manager and he/she knows and well and hence there is every chance of you being exploited

    Advice to Management

    get some humanity instilled in you

    Pros

    1. Good work culture as managers and non managers are seated in the same cubicals so there is no differenciation as such.

    Cons

    1. No Proper Hikes
    2. Delays in the Variable Pay of a Quater by almost 1-2 months
    3. No proper Appraisal
    4. Salaries are too low as compared to other IT Companies
    5. No Chances of getting released once you join the project. The only way out is to leave the company.
    6. Slave of BT and ATT

    Advice to Management

    Please make the system such as the employees are considered as an important part of the company than the managers. The reason is that the managers get good hike but the grass root level people are always cheated. If they stop working what are the manager's use?

    Please understand this and take good care of employees but giving them appropriate hikes and compensations so that they stay in the company happily and the attrition rate can be reduced.

    Initial Training Program training is good..

    Salary as a fresher is good

    Cons

    Salary offered to an experienced is very bad... Appraisals are very very less

    Take some measures for salary increase..

    - You are taught optimism, tolerance and patience.
    - Transfers you to all farther corners of India, you like it or not.

    - Incompetent dumb people are hired at management levels which makes life miserable.
    - You can acquire as many skills as you want, you'll be allocated to Unix project for 6 months, and then moved to a Siebel project for an year, support for a while, bench for a while, testing for an year on some godforsaken product you have never heard of...
    - Completely etiquette less managers/supervisors
    - Slave for your manager and earn your hike and Promotion

    Pros

    No need to work.Just timepass and be good to your manager.
    Learn Office Politics
    Learn any technology without actually working.Get some Certification ,serve your Bond Period and then resign.There is no realization of your training & Certification from the company.
    Threaten resignation to get On site and go there to get pennies.

    No Transportation.
    Top Management is too busy writing blogs without caring about improving the business and profits.They instead blame employees for the rising costs.
    Not an employee friendly company .It is neither Business minded.

    Advice to Management

    Guys focus on Business.As you are busy writing blogs in the intranet site and twitter other companies are posting 24% to 50 % increase in quarter to quarter revenues.Do justice to the salaries you guys get.
    Behave yourselves.Learn corporate. Governance from other IT Majors.Practice before you preach.
    Do not mince the Salaries (Variable Pay).We know you guys walk away with preferential Share allotment.
    You may let us down but you are accountable to the Share Holders,Promoters,market regulators and most importantly to the customers.
    Do a 360 degree review of all folks above the level of manager and implement the results.
