I have been working at Technica (South Carolina) as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

The high pay and accommodations but that all falls mute when they mess up the taxes on purpose.

    Cons

Pay problems, Corporate does not care for employees, serious lack of organization and logistics, uninterested team leaders, lack of resources like tools or parts, no days off , uninterested Project manager.

    Advice to Management

Care a bit about your employees, especially if they are military or veterans. Corporate staff had two weeks to fix all the tax documents and the pay situations but chose to ignore the situation.

    Pros

    Zero, There are no Pro's

    Cons

They are inadequate in every possible way that you could imagine. If there were zero stars..thats what I would have given them

    Advice to Management

Get new management...And please inform people when you have made a mistake on their paycheck and are withdrawing money straight out of their bank...at least a complimentary email would do...after all, it was your mistake

They make you purchase insurance. No room for growth. They put $0 into 401K.

I have been working at Technica (South Carolina) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Varies by location and contract, but at Ft Irwin (Barstow, CA) highly competitive wages, option of health and welfare paid (taxable) or used for benefits/401k. Nice paid time off and vacation (96 hours at the end of 1st year).

    Cons

Mangement can be spotty. Areas of emphasis seem to shift randomly and format rarely consistent. Some of this due to being a new contractor, but not all of it.

    Advice to Management

More cohesiveness. One manager rarely has a clue what any other is doing, even within a shop.
