I have been working at Technip USA full-time

    Pros

Good Pay and Benefits, Project oriented.

    Cons

Department structure needs an overhaul. Their usefulness is limited.

    Advice to Management

Although EPCs are an ever changing project based business. It is valuable to ensure young people learn and stay within the company. In my experience, TechnipFMC is paying a premium for experience and does not have a good knowledge transfer system. Having a reputation for cutting the younger engineers and project people first in hard times, does not create a long term loyalty .

I worked at Technip USA full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits, challenging work, ok pay... The amenities at the office were nice in 2013. There are lots of good people at Technip, excluding most of the upper management.

    Cons

Favoritism in my department was rampant. I had manager call a meeting to "get our story straight" for the client. The same manager chastised his 2nd in command for not lying to the client. Need I say more?

    Advice to Management

Stop losing projects and treat everyone fairly. The favoritism is rampant, and it needs to be eradicated.
