    Pros

    Excellent culture and opportunities. Salary scale is comparable to other large E&C companies.

    Cons

    Compared to other major E&C companies, Technip is probably better than average.

    Advice to Management

    Hopefully the culture isn't lost during the transition to the newly merged TechnipFMC.

    Less work available; lower management dwell on favoritism rather than ensuring the best are kept

    -Genesis Houston management is poor in managing talented staff.
    -Does not value past contributions to success.

    -Pay attention to your staff specially senior / valuable staff
    -You wont be able to replace them once they are gone
    -Micro-management will not give you cost savings but frustrate manager

    I wish I could think of a single good reason to work here.

    Cons

    No career trajectory. No recognition for good work ethic or taking initiative. Notorious for underpaying engineers.

    upper management executives are very optimistic and strive to keep the company positive

    lower management are biased and dwell on favoritism rather than ensuring the best are kept

    listen directly to the employees. Engage with them on a one to one basis and not through their managers

    Pros

    Loyal to its employees and moderately competitive salaries when starting at the company. Technip has a great safety culture and have great internal training programs.

    Cons

    Once at the company, cost of living raises were common, but they rarely adjusted salaries based on current market conditions.

    Pros

    Overall good company to work for. Building provides gym, dentistry and clinic.

    Cons

    Management shows no loyalty to hard workers. It's all about favoritism of a family member or close friend. You will not advance no matter how hard you work. No training you have to fend for yourself.

    Advice to Management

    Provide training to all employees, not just to your favorites. Communicate with your team members.
