      Numbers, Not People

      Pros

If you are lucky enough to work at the corporate location in Houston, the facility is very nice with 2 cafes and 2 Starbucks coffee locations on site, plus an on site clinic and gym. If you are unlucky enough to work at virtually any of the other locations, they are small, run down facilities with no amenities. The benefits are good, but keep getting stripped away slowly. For example, they used to match 5% in 401k and add another 4%, which they do not do anymore. They used to have better health insurance but now only have high-deductible options with HSA. They used to have 9/80 work schedules, but then when the employees voted that they would rather have the option to work from home on occasion, they switched the schedule for every employee away from 9/80s, then told everyone who supports operations that they have to come to work every day (stripping the 9/80s, and also not letting them work from home). Company full of a lot of lies, and "carrots on a stick."

      Cons

Very frequent management changes make progress extremely slow and difficult. Poorly run global corporation where the right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing half the time. Diversity is almost non-existent, even though they make you take diversity training and tout how great diversity is for the workplace. Also, you are treated as a number and not a person, and they will lay you off no matter how good you are at your job, as shown by objective metrics, and target women much more than men with layoffs.
