    Pros

You will be challenged to rise to the occasion over and over. If you are not a techno savvy person, you will have to become so to succeed. With the right leadership above you, there are many opportunities for learning and growth, however...

    Cons

What you must consider is the very nature of the environment. While there is room for growth, the opportunities for moving up are limited and often in the hands of decision-makers who may not always have the best motivations. It is a closed environment, politics can be powerful in a negative way, students sometimes rule the day even when they are in the wrong.

    Advice to Management

Remember always the overall mission of education and research for Mexico and latin America. Never allow ego or old stories override what's right and best for the future of the institution and the country.
