I have been working at Ted Baker London full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The product is good quality which a plus. Woman's is a bit too much floral print for my taste. DEFFINATLY try and work at a stand alone location where they get priority product choices as well as full staffing.

    Cons

Their operating systems in regards to financial analysis is inaccessible on a daily basis and their warehouse / supply chain management is inept.

I worked at Ted Baker London full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company takes/gives opportunity to their employees, listens to needs, and feedback, and acts in line with the needs of the business most of the time. If you're strong and clear in communication, you can really grow with the company! Benefits are great!

    Cons

Varies by location, although communication/training with team members can be a lot more thorough. Long work hours

    Advice to Management

Make sure your entire management team is on the same page; treat everyone on your team with the same respect as everyone else. =)

I have been working at Ted Baker London part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pros were meeting very interesting people, corporate offices located upstairs, press events, top sales in the nation, high foot traffic, exclusive lines, beautiful store, top-performing team, sales incentives and bonuses. Bonuses were often hit because of the high foot traffic and location.

    Cons

Architecture separates team. Stressful work environment because of foot traffic, LP issues, etc. Store is opened longer than other locations in city. Incredibly difficult to get requested days off verified and accepted.

    Advice to Management

LP problems should not be directly blamed on sales associates. Schedule more associates throughout the day. Respect employee's need for certain days off.

    Pros

This is fun company that's great to work for. There's a lot of support and individual recognition. Wit and knowledge are at the core of the company. Product knowledge and seminars are often and thorough.

    Cons

The pay could be better. The location that I worked at needed a stronger leader.

I worked at Ted Baker London part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Ted does have a great company culture, although in the US it can be a bit overwhelming. Managers are always willing to help and they want to see you grow, but only within Ted Baker. If you do not have a great team around you, it can be difficult because Ted is all about the team.

    Cons

The team based learning can either work in your favor or make your experience miserable. It is hard to balance selling while completing the company workbooks that must be completed. The product can be difficult to sell in the U.S. market.
