I have been working at TeleDirect Call Centers full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Hour lunch break flexible schedule options, willing to work with you based on your needs. Opportunity to advance

    Cons

Back to back phone calls barely have time to breathe between calls at times, strict with break minutes if you take a break to use the bathroom when it’s not your schedules break time and you go over break minutes for the day you get dinged. Strict attendance policy clocking in even one minute late will cause a 1/4 of an occurrence 15 minutes late to 4 hours late equals a half an occurrence, missing half of your shift...

    Advice to Management

Be more flexible with attendance of employees if an employee is running late due to traffic or an illness of themself or a child and they call to let you know they should not be penalized for that, if anything adjust their start time to avoid getting an occurrence. Allow for additional break minutes in case of feeling sick or bathroom emergencies. Give employees some admin time to check messages take quizzes review knowledge...

I have been working at TeleDirect Call Centers full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I like that management is easy to work with. Everyone is very helpful and understanding. If you do your job right and follow the rules everything can be smooth. There is room to grow as Remote positions are expanding to management positions. Also, this is remote I don't use any gas :D I also feel that the pay gets better with time and the work you show. With time they offer to place you doing other tasks that bring...

    Cons

At first, it can be a bit overwhelming when you start. We are only given a couple of accounts to review when we start and the idea of how the call center works is not clear at first. Especially coming from other call center works where we are only aware of the one company. With time though and practice it is easy to catch one!

    Advice to Management

I honestly do not have any advice. I personally have a great team lead. She is very nice and I try to follow what I have to do to the mark. I called the support line and everyone has been very nice even though they have to deal with some tough calls. I appreciate this network of closeness even though we have no idea what we look like. The schedule is great and it fits my college life. At times the job is pretty hectic...

I have been working at TeleDirect Call Centers full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I am a remote agent working from home. This Company has been a life saver for me. I am able to work from home and make a decent pay. The management is very friendly and easy to work with. I am a Mom with 3 kids and this job has been a blessing. If you follow the rules and do what you are supposed to do, this job is a very stable one and you can count on the hours for your paycheck. Being a single Mom, I need a stable...

    Cons

Strict on attendance policy. I can understand why though. They commit good service to their clients and so, have to make sure they have the staff to answer the calls.

    Advice to Management

I worked at TeleDirect Call Centers full-time for less than a year

    Pros

1 hour lunch(you’ll need it dealing with all their nonsense)

    Cons

Managers are narcissists Constantly being lied to

    Advice to Management

Wow, where do I even start? I applied and was hired in the same day...but don’t take that as “Oh, that’s amazing!” No. That’s a problem. The test for the application is a 3rd grade spelling test. Got put into the class starting the following weekS There was no drug test, no I-9 forum, not even sure they did a background check for goodness sake. They also emailed me for like 5 days nonstop and would call my phone alll...

I have been working at TeleDirect Call Centers full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are no pros for this company.

    Cons

Lie, claim you get bonuses and you never see them, joke for a work at home company, they constantly have to lying to callers telling them you will "escalate" messages when there is no way to escalate a message, constant pissed off callers, not worth it. I have worked for a wide variety of work at home companies, this is one of the worst ones I've ever seen.

    Advice to Management

Shut down the business. The only reason Teledirect is still in business is because they are an older wah company and have a large amount of clients, other than that they do not function on any sort of morals or integrity at all. Whoever throws money their way they work with them. Lowest wages ever and lie about no benefits. In house employees make way more and get benefits.

    Pros

Teledirect is a great place to work. What defines a company is its leadership. This company has a strong leadership, mostly female. They believe in what they do. Good structure and policies with a caring upper management. Could not have asked for something better.

    Cons

    Nothing I can think of

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. Smitha, you have a great positive energy which flows very well through the whole company. Your leadership motivates all of us. Thank you for everything.
