    I worked at TeleTech full-time

    Pros

I truly enjoyed serving members (past and present) of the military in the USSA project of TeleTech. Breaks and meal times were fair, voluntary overtime was usually available when needed to make a little extra money.

    Cons

Frequent schedule changes made work/family time difficult. Knowing your hourly pay rate was capped vs the amount of responsibility made it hard to keep up personal momentum.

    Advice to Management

Training was not sufficient to be prepared to feel confident when job actually started. This was not the fault of the trainers. Let them have the tools to actually train and give employees more information and confidence when they actually start on the phones to better serve the customer.

I worked at TeleTech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Can be hired for a job
    Can earn money

    Cons

Most positions are seasonal at best
You need very high metric scores to maintain your employment
Shift bids will auto kick out low performers
Only the highest performers can get the shifts they request
    No time off allowed
    Hard working environment

    Advice to Management

Management will not hear any advice
    These jobs are all seasonal.
Very few employees ever keep their jobs long term.
Consider how disruptive this is to people's lives and families.
For all the money it takes to train your agents, team leads and supervisors, it would make more sense to instill longevity in your company goals.

I have been working at TeleTech full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy work, its decent money for my area. Its definitely one of those places that will hire anyone, so if you need a job, try here.

    Cons

The people you speak to are scum. They treat you like you're worth less than dirt. If you can take the abuse you'll do fine, but definitely don't work here if you cant handle being yelled at, or if youve got REALLY bad anxiety.

    Advice to Management

Management isn't really the issue, its the company as a whole, they make it very difficult to get your bonus payouts that you've earned.

I worked at TeleTech part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The training process was good, the pay is average.

    Cons

You are doing what Licensed Insurance Agents should be doing but for less money. You are promised an increase after training but they didn't mention that it depends on your performance. Which they give you very poor rating cause you didn't use RIO on each call.

    Advice to Management

Poor Management as far as the Team Leaders go. Very unprofessional

I worked at TeleTech full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Starting base pay for my campaign was awesome.

    Cons

The employees, work environment, and unorganized management

    Advice to Management

Please ensure that you are hiring quality people. There were a lot employees that treated their job poorly. There was also a lot of management issues and conflict among team leads.

I have been working at TeleTech part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Able to select working hours and work from the comfort of my home office.

    Cons

Poor training set up. You are given the basics but are pretty much left to learn from experience.

    Advice to Management

Loosen the purse strings a little. Customer service is the first face of your company. Offer raises to keep the employees worth keeping.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at TeleTech as a contractor

    Pros

Hired 200+ people without formal interviews who were affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston. Pay rate was great. The calls were a breeze.

    Cons

200+ people came into work and were told this would be our last day. We were told during on-boarding that we would get advanced notice when the contract would end. We were scheduled in Aspect through Nov 26th We were let go the Thursday before Thanksgiving.
Zero training, the entire training session was a waste of time. We learned everything we needed from FEMA's internal resource guides.
They messed up our pay checks multiple times and gave you an attitude when you had the audacity to bring it up missing 17 hours from a check.

    Advice to Management

Minimize waste, excess trainers when you know systems are down was redundant; some people WERE intentionally locking themselves out for call avoidance reasons, don't make everyone sitting next t them guilty by proximity association it's asinine; we are all strangers not friends.

I have been working at TeleTech full-time

    Pros

It is teaches many things about financing that you can use years down the road

    Cons

The bosses form clicks with the people under them and other supervisors leading to drama . This doesn't allow you to move to another team leader if you have a problem with the one you are under because of the group mentality of us against them, with the new supervisor being against you. This also leads to promotions being handed out due to how well you fit in with the group instead of how good you are at your job.

    Advice to Management

If you are a supervisor you should not be going to parties and getting drunk with the people under you. Professionalism should be in the work place
