I worked at Telecare Corporation full-time

    Pros

    -Team oriented, authentic colleague-ship
-Excellent training and scholarship and scholarship opportunities
-thoughtful and intentional RCCS and integrative care services that are power aware, honor individual uniqueness, enhance motivation, check judgment, and ensure respect and dignity

    Cons

More Telecare programs are needed in all states it serves, accessible and timely community health services are needed vastly.

    Advice to Management

Please determine how as a for profit all employee with loans can still receive loan forgiveness due to the population served for federal loans.
become a FQHC, consider investing in affordable housing as part of integrated care experience.
Make sure the right person is doing the right job; ensure anyone who provides direct services/clinical is not distracted by burdensome and time absorbing admin (it dilutes the efficacy of care). separate administrative supervisors and clinical supervisors.

I have been working at Telecare Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Still has some amazing people working here. High commitment to supporting the recovery of people with mental illness.

    Cons

Company’s financial model (survival depends on high growth rate) puts it at risk — growth rate is not sustainable. Infrastructure systems are outdated or poorly implemented (revenue, budgeting, no EHR). CEO/owner does not have the right experience to lead company into the future and her anxiety leads to angry outbursts and unrealistic expectations. Senior leadership team tries to shield other leaders but the company culture is corroding. Leaders not being promoted due to ageism and other inappporiate reasons, leaders “disappear” without warning (fired without cause?)

    Advice to Management

Board should engage in thorough external, unbiased review of CEO performance. Perhaps the company can survive and grow by being acquired by a company that already has needed infrastructure and practices.
