I have been working at Telekom Malaysia full-time

    Pros

    - Good work/life balance - 1/2 day on every last Friday - Generous Annual Leaves for permanent staffs - Good allowance package (13% EPF, Unlimited Medical, travel, meal, mobile, broadband, lodging etc) - Friendly colleagues

    Cons

    - Too many departments and too many people earning easy money without doing much - Top management changes frequently - Politics - Very low salary/bonus/increment compared to other GLC - No salary realignment for people who earned certifications - Very difficult to move up the corporate ladder

    Advice to Management

    - Align salary based on competency of staffs

I have been working at Telekom Malaysia for more than a year

    Pros

Many good things to learn. Very beneficial for future undertakes.

    Cons

Sick of low salary, doesnt have much benefits like contract and permanent staff. Agencies have % of our salaries, and no salary increment for 2 years contract as a leasing staff. Mileage rate still RM0.60/km eventhough petrol price increases highly.

    Advice to Management

We leasing staffs have to work like permanent staff, but our salary is just too far away lower than the permanent staff. Please stop "leasing", and go with the contract. Life is soo difficult nowadays. We do not have any special benefits. Please consider
